Dear Moonies, Better late than never, says the old saying - here is my Newsletter for this Moonth! The Capricorn New Moon was yesterday, Saturday, December 27 at 7:23 am EST, 1 week after the Winter Solstice. The Light is returning to those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, so let us celebrate the joy of the season, remembering the Ancient Ones who left us the Wisdom of connecting to Nature via the Wheel of the Year and Astrology.   This Moonth, we have the New Moon in Capricorn (12/27/08), and the Full Moon in Cancer (1/10/09). This Astrological axis teaches us to respect the Ancestors, as well as to consider the Generations to come. They invite us to re-consider our roles in society and in the family, and how we might en-vision a new kind of Earth, taking the best of the Past, so that we may forge a powerful Future, based on the values of (prior)Traditions which honors All Life. Our focus this Cycle will be on the Archetypes of Mother and Father, The Roots and the Foliage of the Sacred Tree of Life, our Divine Lineage and through these what we choose to Re-Member back into our Consciousness so that we may leave a Legacy of Love, Respect, and Responsibility (Ability to Respond) for all Time.  The Native American and World Indigenous Traditions are highlighted this Cycle, as we endeavour to create a New World Order (not one based on negative corporate, economic and political greed, but one that is in healthy alignment with the coming age of Aquarius - a New Family Tribe that embraces the Diversity of All Life - more to come on this during the next Cycle with the Aquarius New Moon).   Interestingly, Capricorn also 'rules' positions of power & authority, most importantly - the Office of the Presidency. My sense is that regardless of your political views, it is important this month to envision our Government shifting power in a graceful and honorable manner. During this Cycle (on 1/20/09), we will be bidding 'adieu' to Mr. Bush and clan (the 'old' world order with its ineptitude and abuse of power), and welcoming Hope and Change (actually Aquarian/Uranus traits) in the form of President-elect, Barack Obama. Whether you agree with Obama or not, Change is good in light of where the World stands poised - and we need all the Hope we can get to move us into the Future. I find it fascinating that we are in the midst of a similar Astrological configuration as we had in the mid-sixties, and with this Capricorn/Cancer cycle, we have a choice as to the way we view Authority and Tradition and the Office of the Presidency as an Archetype of World Leadership...WE ARE THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY regardless of who lives in the White House - so let us be sure to focus on what AUTHORITY means to us personally, and come to an understanding of what the word 'RESPONSIBILITY' really means - If it's to be, it's up to me - so pray, meditate, en-vision, and make your Mark upon the world for the next generations to come, by vibrating highly - the ability to respond when the world calls - not with guns and ammunition, but with our Voices united - let us celebrate the Return of the Light (Solstice) and the Foundation of a New Government, where We the People never again give away our Rights and Power to anyone. Saturn as ruler of Capricorn teaches us, however painfully, that we ALWAYS get what we deserve - that is the nature of Karma - what we vibrate out, is what vibrates right back to us (and so also says the Witch/Sourceress in me). Karma is NOT an 'eye for an eye' but it is all about resonance! Make it your Goal and Intention this Moonth to check your Resonant Frequency so that Saturn brings back to you as an individual/us as a collective the very Change we have dreamed of for so long. Ok, enough said on that. Y'all get it?!   The planet Saturn 'rules' over this month's New Moon, and calls to mind 'Father Time' as well as the Ancient Crone. We need not fear 'old age' or the apparent death of winter-season, because inherent in these Archetypes/Time is the promise of Wisdom and with it the choice to soon plant new seeds. The Moon will 'rule' over this cycle's Full Moon and of course that means we have the opportunity in 2 weeks to check our emotional bodies, and Nature in all her wisdom gives us the Winter-time opportunity to make like the bears and enter our caves, to replenish and prepare. The road ahead will be long and we will need all the energy reserves we can muster, both for our personal goals, as well as the Collective Body of Consciousness.   So, now, it's Winter  - let us go within, hibernate, meditate and receive from Great Spirit a new set of Directions so that come Spring-time, we will know which seeds to plant for the coming New Zodiacal Year. As we celebrate the success of the Old Year (Spring through Winter) and what we have achieved, we can put our Souls to rest within the Arms of the Great Mother/Father, so that we may Emerge, re-newed and re-vitalized in 3-months time at Spring Equinox.   Let us follow Nature's wise ways, and enter into the Stillness and Silence of our Souls...   Peace & MoonBeam Blessings,   Silvia J. For Those of You Who Are Working with Silvia's MoonCoach Process (or who would like to):     We have reached the 10th step in the Zodiacal Journey, and this corresponds to the topmost point on the Wheel. This represents the SUMMIT towards which we are reaching. Having reached the top, we now must take other considerations, such as what we can do for the world. We begin to leave aside our personal agenda, having succeeded, and take on the role of AUTHORITY, LEADER or MENTOR within our Community. This is the sign of the MASTER TEACHER, guiding us from the Summit.     Having celebrated WINTER SOLSTICE, and entered into the depths of one's own Soul, we begin to leave behind us that which we have labored for since last Spring. During this Winter Cycle, we begin the process of allowing our Seed Intention to retreat back into the Earth's Womb, to hibernate until the next cycle in Spring when it will be reborn. The sign Capricorn corresponds to the Winter Cycle, and therefore to OLD AGE. A certain freedom comes with Age, and usually it's called MATURITY and WISDOM. This is why we look to our ELDERS for guidance - they've been around for a long time and have lived through the experiences that Youth is just beginning to struggle with.  Consider your own INNER WISE ELDER/CRONE this moonth, and tap into your own vast reservoir of the Wisdom gained from EXPERIENCE. As we look back on our Lunar Journey so far, we can view it from the perspective of this Inner Wise Elder. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross said, "I believe that we are solely RESPONSIBLE for our choices, and we have to accept the CONSEQUENCE of every deed, work and thought throughout our lifetime." She works ith the dying, and it is a the Moment of Death that we review our lives, considering if we have ACCOMPLISHED what we set out to do and if we did it in a manner consistent with Great Spirit's guidance. If so, the LEGACY we leave behind is great indeed - and a (new) TRADITION may be left in place based on our unique Gift (contribution) to the WORLD.   So, as you ponder on your Seed Intention this moonth, call in your CAPRICORN SELF (we ALL have one, regardless of your Sun/Moon signs) - That WISE INNER AUTHORITY, and ask how you may place your original Seed Intention (or this Moon's intention) into the World as a FOUNDATION for good. Consider how you will be remembered in light of your Dream, your Seed Intention. Ask your WISE INNER ELDER: What am I working to leave behind as my MARK on the world? What kind of LEGACY am I working towards achieving? What STRUCTURES am I creating so that my NAME is remembered in a good way? Are you feeling restricted or bound by your current set of values and principles? Make sure you are not living according to someone else's standards. This New Moon is at 6 degrees of Sagittarius... Regardless, of what your Sun or Moon Sign may be, this particular New Moon being in Sagittarius, the sign of freedom, the quest for spiritual wisdom, higher education and religious studies, law and the search for truth, one's belief system and spiritual ideals, philosophy, travel and foreign lands, cosmic consciousness and did I say already - FREEDOM!, is perfect for beginning any of the following activities: Question your current set of beliefs! Watch movies like What the Bleep, The Secret, The 7 Spiritual Laws of Success and The Moses Code, if you haven't already. Study a different religion than what you were raised in - it'll expand the borders of your mind! Travel to a faraway place on the planet - or at last read about a far-off country & their culture. College! Time to start working towards that degree you always dreamed of! Write up your personal Mission Statement - or your Vision Statement! Get an appointment with a professional astrologer (ME!) to help you figure out your Mission &Purpose in life. Find a mentor who is willing to initiate you into the more profound aspects of metaphysics. Legal issues? Initiate any action now! Go on a traditional (or outrageous) Vision Quest! ...And climaxes at the Full Moon at 22 Gemini (22 Sagittarius Sun) The Full Moon will activate the Gemini/Sagittarius Polarity in all our charts. It will be very close to the Anti-Galactic and Galactic Centers. I believe that with as much energy as we have been receiving from the Heart of our Galaxy over the recent years, it would be a good thing to meditate and focus on this important Cosmic point during the time of the Full Moon (December 12 at 11:37 am). Read below for more information on the Galactic Center. To quote from Wikepedia: "The Galactic Center is the rotational center of the Milky Way galaxy. It is located about 26,000 light years away from the Earth, in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius, where the Milky Way appears brightest." That being said, it happens to be the busiest section of our cosmic neighborhood! What is interesting is that it is believed that a supermassive black hole is centered within it. There is great physical power within these places. We do not really know what's there (lots of scientific theories though) but the fabulous news is that in March2006, scientists were able to photograph a nebula in the shape of double-helix DNA, coming right out from its core! (See picture above). Now, if scientists are all goo-goo-ga-ga over this, imagine how the rest of us who have been waiting for some 'proof' of intelligent life in the universe feel! Imagine those of us who have known through ancient writings and from listening to our own spiritual guidance, that there is some big Cosmic Birth just waiting to happen, felt when this photo was shared by the NASA people! Just spend a moment or two meditating on this and see if your own inner mind doesn't start to open a bit to new possibilities! The point is, that from a spiritual perspective, the Cosmos is 'manifesting' physical evidence that what the Collective Consciousness is feeling on the Inner Planes (Change, Quantum Leaps, Growth, Expansion) is very real! This is no longer the domain of 'woo-woo' or pseudo-science, but becoming 'mainstream' so get ready for continuing massive Changes that will benefit everyone and all life on Earth. The trick is to BELIEVE and TRUST THE PROCESS, including not falling into fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) which all the old authority systems will attempt to use against Humanity in their last attempt to control and manipulate (to no avail) as they die off. A greater Cosmic Birth of Galactic Consciousness, that includes US, is happening...we are in the throes of Birthing ourselves anew, so don't resist the cosmic contractions, just surrender, trust and go with the flow. All is well! The above are just a few suggestions. Only you know what's going on in your life right now, so decide how to best utilize this month's New Moon energies. Below are a few key words that fall under the domain of the Sagittarius Archetype. Choose one that you might be dealing with in your life, and begin working on that at the New Moon on November 27 and throughout the Lunar Month. You can apply the archetypal energy in various ways, ranging from the practical or mundane to the spiritual to psychological. Choose what works best for you or what you need at this time. Philosophy. Law. Healing. Religion. Mentorship. Higher Education - University level or metaphysical studies. Travel - to foreign lands or within unknown regions of your Consciousness. Beliefs - religious, spiritual, philosophical. Luck & Divine Providence - Whatever you BELIEVE as benefactors in your life. Questions - Answers - your personal quest into the Truth of your Being! Your Mission & Purpose in life - where are you pointing your arrow? Adventure! Freedom! Enthusiasm! Fire! Your Grander Vision - what long term goals do you have in place? Pontificating your 'truth' as the only or best way. Being Scattered and non-commital. Acting righteously about religion, politics, beliefs, etc. Anger - frustration - escapism. MoonCoach Mantras for the Sagittarius Cycle are: I analyze all my transparent beliefs & accept only those that serve my higher purpose. Quantum Leap in Consciousness via Galactic Initiation: And what does MoonCoach Silvia Pancaro have to say about Pluto (Lord of the Underworld) and his final exit from Sagittarius (where he's been since 1995), and now fully entered into Capricorn (where he'll remain through 2025)? In Western Astrology, we divide the 360 degree zodiacal wheel into 12 division of 30 degrees each, giving us the 12 Astrological Signs. When a planet ends its journey through a sign, standing at the last 'degree', is said to be at the 'completion' of its learning in that Archetype. Hopefully, that means that it's achieved 'Mastery' of the sign's potentials, weaknesses and expressions. With Pluto completing its transit/journey within the Freedom-loving and Truth-seeking sign of Sagittarius, I would hope that Humanity took the opportunity as a Heart Call towards what it really means to BE FREE, and that we all decide to stand for a Higher Truth, within the Human, Animal, Plant and Mineral realms of Earth herself, as well as within Galactic & InterGalactic Space....after all we do have a number of Human Beings floating out in the Space beyond our own Earthly Atmosphere! Pluto who symbolizes Alchemical Transformation and a Re-birth of a Higher Consciousness, gave us a great opportunity to look into our positioning in both the Outer Cosmos and our own Inner Universe, during the past nearly 14 years. He has helped us awaken to Deeper Truths, including connecting us with the Center of the Milky Way Galaxy (as we now perceive it), and asked us to consider our own Spiritual Source: What do we hold near and dear in the very Core of our BEings? What Light and Shadow issues, people, situations and beliefs are central to our very existence? The Full Moon on December 12, 2008 will be very close to the Center of our Galaxy, wherein lies a supermassive Black Hole, which recently birthed a double-helix-DNA-shaped nebula - confounding scientists, physicists and astronomers. Lest you be sidetracked by Dark Matter within your very own HEART, meditate on healing your own Spiritual DNA, especially that which you may have 'inherited' from your ancestral lineage. Hopefully, you have utilized the opportunities that Pluto brought you while he traveled that point in the past couple of years, and with this Full Moon re-activating that point, this will be more of a 'closure' to the deep work you accomplished regarding your own 'shadow' and are now ready to move forward, as Pluto begins his 14-year journey through Capricorn. During the next few years especially, you and the entire Collective will be called on to build a new Foundation, new Structures that are based on Higher Truth (hence we have a new US President who embodies the very Change the coming Age calls for). It's interesting that the next New Moon (in Capricorn) will inaugurate our new President Obama, and with it, Pluto who breaks down outworn systems, will be bringing change to the Office of not only the Presidency, but also to whatever 'authority' figures and structures no longer serve the greater good. Yes, indeed, we do live in interesting times! It's all perfectly timed and we must dream a bigger dream as we begin a new phase in the collective field of consciousness! Additionally, The constellation Sagittarius, itself is composed of stars which outline Chiron the Centaur. Chiron was a great teacher and healer (nicknamed 'The Wounded Healer'), whose accomplishments were many and varied as described in many Greek myths - check the heroic tales of Hercules for example. This Month as we focus on Sagittarius, Chiron is reminding us that at this Soli-Lunar Cycle we are being given the opportunity to take one, last, deep look into our hearts and learn from the Past, so that we may check inside our Hearts and verify that we have healed the old wounds - healing all of our ancestors and by extension, Human History itself, in the process. Having accomplished this, it gives us FREEDOM to move forward in the direction of a New World, birthing new DNA, new Galaxies literally and figuratively (as the Centaur is posed, with bow and arrow in hand, pointing to the Galactic Center). We are poised at a tremendous cosmic opportunity! And as the ancient axiom from Thoth goes, "As above, so below" then we must look at this in both the personal application in our everyday mundane lives, as well as the cosmic repercussions. This is definitely pointing towards a quantum leap in consciousness - it does carry a bit of finality to it, folks - I do believe that with given all of the Astrological factors (especially the entry of Pluto into Capricorn, while its planetary ruler, Saturn, opposes Uranus (the planetary ruler of Aquarius, and of course we are embarking the Age of Aquarius which will last over 2000 years), there's a dramatic call to put our attention on something bigger, something further out than what is immediately under our own noses! I would encourage you to step away from the newspaper and log onto NASA's website or www.space.com and take a look at Life beyond Earth. The Human Experience is definitely expanding just a tad bit beyond our backyard fence! Yep, it's time to extend our proverbial 'comfort zone' and open our minds to what new and exciting realities lie over yonder! We do 'live in exciting times' and you can feel the enthusiasm for being Alive at this tremendously powerful Moment, that I call the Edge of Time! Time to Celebrate CHANGE with President Obama!

Dear Moonies,

Let us embrace our new President: Barack H. Obama! I am so proud to have chosen to incarnate in these historic times! Oh my God/Dess, I am crawling out of my skin with absolute JOY! What an amazing Moment! In Astrology, we say that a country gets the president it deserves, that best reflects the 'consciousness' of its people...and I feel very strongly that we must take a moment to thank Mr. Bush for having reflected our Collective Shadow, so that we may make a different Choice and therefore bring the kind of Change that we are now ready to fulfill as a nation, as a people and as a collective body of consciousness, part of Earth.

Celebrate Our New President: Obama!

Dear Moonies,

Let us embrace our new President: Barack H. Obama! I am so proud to have chosen to incarnate in these historic times! Oh my God/Dess, I am crawling out of my skin with absolute JOY! What an amazing Moment! In Astrology, we say that a country gets the president it deserves, that best reflects the 'consciousness' of its people...and I feel very strongly that we must take a moment to thank Mr. Bush for having reflected our Collective Shadow, so that we may make a different Choice and therefore bring the kind of Change that we are now ready to fulfill as a nation, as a people and as a collective body of consciousness, part of Earth.

Do Radical Forgiveness on America Before the Election!

Hey Moonies,

Marcus and I just received a very crappy letter from the IRS regarding our refund...I'll spare you the details, but suffice it to say that I could feel massive hatred starting to boil up inside me - and wouldn't you know it, on the eve of Election Day! Marcus suggested I do a Radical Forgiveness worksheet on the IRS, but i did one thing better: Did a worksheet on America and our government as a whole, to really release any aspect of personal and collective Shadow from within my own Soul that I obviously have been holding onto, as evidenced by my reaction to the IRS letter. So, now I feel better, and after I send this email to you, I will light the chimenea and burn the worksheets so I can complete my piece/peace on this and be Free to vote with a fully open Heart tomorrow (yes, for Obama).

I won't go into a full explanation about Scorpio and it's archetypal connection with clearing and forgiveness work, since I've done that at length in my newsletter, in my Playbook (which most of you won, so be sure to read the Scorpio section), but do know that Scorpio's 'invitation' to us is to work pro-actively with our own personal Shadow and underworld, so that we can alchemically transform the old painful resentments into the Gold of Love!

My suggestion is, as we are still within the Scorpio cycle, to invoke Radical Forgiveness for (North) America and her Shadow...including our own personal participation in it. It is only by pulling back our own political, social, economic, religious and educational shadow that we can heal the Collective American Shadow. I am attaching Colin & JoAnn Tipping's Radical Forgiveness worksheet (the one created specifically for our government). Please print it out and do a sheet (or however many it takes!), and perhaps you may want to burn it or create some form of Ceremony/Ritual wherein you release America of her Shadow (and your own Soul's participation within it).

And keep in mind that we are likely (from an Astrological and Spiritual perspective) going to see more 'shadow' come up to be revealed and healed...this is a good sign - means we are doing the healing work. Don't let yourself go into massive fear (as the dying Powers would love) about anything you see (news, media, etc.). Think LOVE. Feel LOVE. KNOW in your deepest Soul that it's all working out according to the level of consciousness that we hold - if we are choosing Change and a New Way of BE-ing, then obviously everyone has to be fired, so to speak, as well as having a massive overhaul of the entire system. Let it die. Rejoice as the old powers fall away, because in its place, we will have New Life Force Energy, with new progressive ideas, and young/brave Souls who come to move us FORWARD to a NEW AMERICA, built on the kind of Values that embraces ALL LIFE.

I do find these Radical Forgiveness worksheets to be of great power in helping us all to re-member that we have signed up to be on the planet at this time of Transition, to not only witness but also actively participate in the Creation of a New World Paradigm. Please, do yourself and the next generations, and all life a favor - do at least 1 worksheet on forgiving whatever aspect of American Government (past or present) you feel has been a shadow for you, your family, and/or the world!

Let us Forgive, Release, Embrace and Heal so that we may collectively hold the Vibration of Joy tomorrow, no matter what shows up!

Welcome To Silvia Pancaro's MoonCoach Blog!

Hello and happy 1st Quarter Moon! Today is October 7, 2008 and the Moon is in her 1st Quarter phase, in the zodiacal sign Capricorn (the Sea Goat). This is a fabulous day to take action, especially as it relates to career, politics, and all organizational structures. And of course, we have the presidential debate between Obama and McCain tonight, so given that the Moon rules the emotions of the Collective, I imagine it will be a pretty emotional debate for us, the American people!
